Aaron Whittenberger of STAR BASE, Inc achieves Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) Certification


CINCINNATI - September 18, 2008 - STAR BASE Consulting, Inc. today announced that Aaron Whittenberger, a Senior IT consultant at STAR BASE, passed the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) exam. As a result, Whittenberger has been certified as an expert in identifying business needs to determine the best solutions.

The CBAP designation is offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis, (IIBA) the first organization to offer formal certification for Business Analysis Professionals, and is awarded to those who have demonstrated expertise in the practice of business analysis. The IIBA was organized in October 2003 in Ontario, Canada by 28 founding members representing eight countries, to promote the profession of Business Analysis, create and maintain the professional body of knowledge, and certify its practitioners.

To qualify for the CBAP® certification, candidates must document five years of business analysis experience in the last ten years, demonstrate expertise in four of the six knowledge areas of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®), document 21 hours of professional development (classroom education), and obtain two professional references that attest to your suitability for the CBAP® certification.
