Employee Spotlight: Rick Barrie

STAR BASE Consulting is proud to spotlight our employee Rick Barrie! Rick joined STAR BASE in 2006

Rick has been involved with RPG and IBM midrange systems since 1974. He has been a computer operator, a programmer, an analyst, a manager, a director and since 2006 a consultant with Star Base. In addition to his IBM midrange experience, he also has worked with SQL, HTML and Visual Basic.

He has business experience in the manufacturing (discrete, process and dimensional), healthcare, insurance, retail, and construction industries. He has worked at Luxottica, General Revenue, Givadaun and Mercy Hospital among others.

On the personal side, Rick is a licensed private pilot and lists Civil War history, photography, writing crime stories, and overland hiking as hobbies.
