Employee Spotlight:  Jeff Welsh

 

Jeff Welsh has made a 25-year career of information technology.

As president of STAR BASE Consulting, which he founded in 1991, he strives everyday to better meet the application development, IT outsourcing, and IT strategy needs of the Greater Southwest Ohio community. He has served as a consultant for such Cincinnati clients as U.S. Shoe, Proctor & Gamble, Cintas, and LensCrafters, where he has headed projects for the company's EyeMed claims system as the primary designer.

Jeff began his career shortly after receiving his college degree in computer science, spending nine years working as a programmer/analyst for various Cincinnati companies, including Standard Publishing Company, United Way/Community Chest, and Cintas.

Away from the office, Jeff is a father of two sons. He serves as a life group leader at Legacy Christian Church. He enjoys watching movies in the home theater he designed, riding his motorcycle, and working on the lawn and landscaping in his country yard.
