STAR BASE Consulting, Inc. would like to welcome Ken Poulter to our team as Talent Acquisition Manager.
Ken has over 21 years experience in the recruiting and contract staffing markets. He has successfully run three start-up recruiting firms where he was the sole principle in two of the three firms.
Ken has a tremendous grasp of technology and business and his ability to understand complex requirements is one of the core reasons for his success.
Ken's extensive network and his lasting relationships with hundreds of IT professionals, allows Ken and STAR BASE the capability to deliver the strongest and hardest to find talent in the industry.
He particularly enjoys working on assignments where existing suppliers have failed to produce appropriate candidates for mission critical positions or when candidates with unique and complex backgrounds are needed in significantly small time scales.
Prior to recruiting, Ken was an account manager selling and supporting large mainframe computer systems and software for several Fortune 50 companies.
He spent six years in the Navy where he graduated from the Nuclear Power program and worked as the lead electronics technician on the AEGIS Weapons System Research and Development live platform on board the USS Norton Sound.
He has a 24-year old daughter, Lindsey, a PR and Marketing major in her senior year at Wright State University.
When he is not finding top talent for our clients, Ken enjoys race cars, motorcycles, poker, pool and spending time with good friends.
